Adele Campbell Artist Spotlight | Samantha Williams -Chapelsky

We are thrilled to be showcasing a new collection from talented Alberta artist Samantha Williams-Chapelsky, entitled “West Coast Wanderings.” The artist spotlight will be available to view hanging at the Adele Campbell Fine Art Gallery from Friday, June 30 to Sunday, July 9, 9am to 6pm. We hope you can stop by the gallery for a visit or browse the show online during this time.

The artist said, “This body of work is a series of semi-abstract paintings depicting scenes from all over B.C. My landscapes employ impressionistic mark-making to harness the emotions I want to capture in all of these pieces. This series is based on a recent trip to B.C., where I travelled through the Interior to the Coast and did small scale plein air paintings along the way to capture different moments. I used these small paintings as references in my studio to create large scale interpretations of different viewpoints in B.C. and the majesty of the natural landscape in this province.”
