A Laid-Back Summer, Whistler Style

In 1914, when the only way to get to Whistler was via horse and cart on a dirt road, two settlers realized what an idyllic place it would be for a summer fishing lodge. They admired the sparkling lakes framed by snow-capped mountains, breathed in the scent of blooming wildflowers and listened to the sounds of hummingbirds as rainbow trout nibbled at their fishing lines.
