Audain Art Museum Public Guided Tours (year-round): Every Sunday, at select times, join their knowledgeable docents on a one-hour introductory tour of the museum, which is included in the admission price. Fire & Ice Show (Dec. 31, and Jan. 5 – March 9): Every Sunday night, spend your evening with family and friends with free live entertainment, including hoop dancers! Kokanee Valley Race Series (Dec. 19 – March 20): Series events are held on select Thursdays throughout the season. The series is open to skiers, telemarkers and snowboarders, with different gender and age divisions. No racing experience is required to join in on the fun of recreational racing.

Monthly Bird Walk (year-round): On the first Saturday of every month, join the Whistler Naturalists members and birding experts at the bottom of Lorimer Road, at the Valley Trail, for a walk to Rainbow Park to observe and inventory bird activity. whistlernaturalists.ca/birding

FEBRUARY
FIL Luge World Championships (Feb. 6 – 8): More than 150 athletes, representing more than 25 countries, battle for the title of king and queen of luge. This action-packed event at the Whistler Sliding Centre features a venue full of activities, including entertainment, local food options, beer gardens and much more! Be trackside to check out these athletes, who will reach speeds of up to 130 km/hr.

Invictus Games Vancouver Whistler 2025 (Feb 8 – 16): Daily events and activities in Whistler will be held from Feb. 9 – 13, and sporting events at Whistler venues from Feb 10 – 12. Cheer on up to 550 competitors as they experience the unrivalled power of sport! Honour those who have been wounded in combat or suffer from post-traumatic stress resulting from their wartime experiences and be a part of their shared journey of recovery. Coast Outdoors P’ayakentsut Cross Country Ski Loppet (Feb. 22): Register in advance and then be at Whistler Olympic Park at 10 a.m. This free technique loppet (“citizen race”) on 15-, 25- or 50-km courses and a 10-km sit ski course winds through old-growth forest and along some of the park’s world-class racing trails. payak.ca

Whistler Blackcomb National Junior Freeride Challenge (March 13 – 16): This IFSA (International Freeskiers & Snowboarders Association) event challenges competitors aged 12 to 18 on big mountain terrain. They are scored based on style, control, technique, fluidity and line choice.

Audain Gala and Auction (April 12): The highly anticipated "Destination Gala" is the Audain Art Museum’s fundraising event of the year.
